How It Works
PRESCRIPTION WEIGHT LOSS
Let’s be upfront about this. There is no “magic pill” that will allow you to eat whatever you want, not exercise, and still look amazing. However, if you are willing to focus on your diet and exercise, prescription weight loss drugs may help you reach your goals. Prescription weight loss medicine is reserved for those that have a Body Mass Index over 30 (BMI – which we will calculate for you in office).
If your BMI is at least 27 and you have health conditions that can be attributed to your weight – such as high blood pressure or diabetes – you would also qualify.

BMI is calculated differently for children and teenagers. It is age and sex specific because the height and weight of males and females change differently during growth and development. While it is calculated the same as for adults, BMI is expressed as a percentile relative to other children of the same sex and age.If you are concerned about your or your child’s BMI, or just want more information, talk with your family doctor.

All too often folks find themselves in situations, where they've moved, or are unable to meet with their healthcare provider to get their prescription. This could lead to gaps in your medical treatment that could leave your mental health spiraling downward at a rate too hard to manage.
Our clinic has the means to prevent this sort of adverse result by evaluating you for temporary psychological, medical bridging. This way you can get back on your feet until you're able to see your mental health provider for a more permanent solution.
